Ben & Jerry’s company Mission Statement is to … make fantastic ice cream. It’s the sort of company we all dreamed of running when we were kids. Using wholesome, natural ingredients, they make the finest quality ice cream and other ‘euphoric concoctions’. An ethical and socially conscious brand, their guiding belief in “Peace, love, and ice cream” makes the ice cream taste even better.
With a Social Mission to use the company in innovative ways to make the world a better place, Ben & Jerry’s are involved in many social and environmental endeavours – community projects, fair trade ingredient sourcing, the Ben & Jerry’s foundation, company match of employee donations, and activism around climate change, race, and poverty. The icecream is made with certified humane, cage free eggs and Ben & Jerry’s run a Sustainable Dairy program known as “Caring Dairy.”
